In Memoriam

Initially this was simply my list of thank-you's to friends and colleagues who have passed from this earth. They enriched my life with songs and music, both traditional and contemporary, love songs and political songs. Some were scholars, most were just lovers of the songs. Many of these people were not "famous," but they were important as scholars and performers in the tradition and trajectory of folk music that informed the folk revival movement with its political messages. Most of all they were important to me as inspiration and example. - Eleanor Walden
